Phuket's weather conditions are influenced by monsoon winds that blow year round. It is therefore always warm and pleasant. There are two distinct seasons, the monsoon season and the dry season. The monsoon season begins in May and lasts until October, during which the monsoon blows from the southwest. Some rain showers are common during this time.
